1990 - Our only visit to date to the Nene Valley Railway,
Peterborough
- Evening trip- Taunton Cider, Norton Fitzwarren, for a guided
tour of their rail distribution system, and the Cider making
process, including a Cider tasting session!
1991
-Kent & East Sussex Railway- one of the Societies wettest
ever days out! It didn't stop raining until travelling back
on the coach in the evening!
- 29th June 1991-Bristol Bath Road & St Phillips'
Marsh HST depot Open Days- with Society Stand, helped by many
members and friends. A photograph of Society members Tim Henwood
and Steve Carter photographing the locos on show appeared
in the Bristol Evening Post!
- Evening trip- June-Avon Valley Railway (Diesel-hauled brake
van trips)
1992
- East Lancs Railway, Bury
- Evening Trip- ARC Whatley Quarry and loco shed (Class 59),
for a tour of the loco and wagon repair facility, the Quarry
and control room.

This shows 59102 in the heart of the quarry, a rare
occurence as the usual diesel shunter was out of action

North extension

- Additional evening visit- Bristol Bath Road Depot visit

- Llangollen Railway
- Evening Trip- Gartell Light Railway, - our first visit to
this popular narrow gauge railway at Templecombe, featuring
our own train.
1995
- Bluebell Railway, for their Steam Gala day
- Evening Trip- West Somerset Railway (DMU trip from Bishops
Lydeard to Williton for a tour of the Diesel Maintenance facilities
and "Swindon" shed workshop to see restoration work
on the Sleeping Coach)
